Position Overview
- The Central Control Room Operator plays a critical role in overseeing the operational processes within the cement production facility.
- This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control production processes from the Central Control Room (CCR) to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Coordinate with Shift Coordinators and communicate necessary information to support the production team effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of operational data and report any anomalies or issues.
- Analyze equipment performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Support the implementation of approved production plans and targets, ensuring they are met during shifts.
- Conduct routine checks and adjustments to ensure optimal equipment operation and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and operational staff on process improvements and optimizations.
- Serve as a point of contact for emergency response and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide training and supervision to junior staff and operators as needed.
- Adhere to environmental management processes and sustainability practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a control room or production environment, preferably in the cement industry.
Skills and Competencies:
