Jefferson Scholars National Fellowship 2025 for Ph.D. Candidates

Scholarship Information:

The Jefferson Scholars National Fellowship Program supports Ph.D. candidates completing dissertations focused on U.S. politics, public policy, and foreign relations. Up to four Fellows are selected annually to receive a $30,000 stipend for their first year, with potential renewal for a second year. Fellows are paired with senior scholars who serve as mentors, offering guidance and feedback. Additionally, Fellows can build collaborative research networks and gain training in skills like grant writing, data analysis, and public engagement. Fellows are also eligible for up to $5,000 in research funding and must participate in conferences and residential visits to the Foundation.

• Required participation in fall and spring conferences and residential visits
