Scholarship Information:
The MRS Resident Advisor Scholarship recognizes the valuable contributions of volunteer Resident Advisors in Monash Residential Services. The scholarship offers financial support through rental rebates for current students serving in the RA role. Scholarship values include:
- Half scholarship: $282.50 paid monthly over 10 months (Total value: $2,825.00)
- Three-quarter scholarship: $423.75 paid monthly over 10 months (Total value: $4,237.50)
- Full scholarship: $565.00 paid monthly over 10 months (Total value: $5,650.00)
Selected applicants will have opportunities to develop leadership skills and positively impact their community while receiving financial assistance.

Requirements:
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or international student.
- Be a current full-time undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate student enrolled at a Monash campus in Australia.
- Be a current resident with Monash Residential Services.
- Be appointed as a Resident Advisor with MRS.
- Provide a valid Volunteer Working with Children check.
- Maintain a minimum pass grade average (50%) in the previous academic year.
- Not be in breach of any current Monash Residential Services Conditions of Residency.
How to Apply:
- Apply through the Monash Residential Services website.
- All applicants for the role of MRS Resident Advisor will automatically be assessed for this scholarship.
- The scholarship cannot be deferred.
- This scholarship may be held in conjunction with another accommodation scholarship with approval from Monash Residential Services.
