But. You can not renew your passport when you are on UAE visit visa
For instance, let say you had submitted your CV and you got an mail to come for an interview. There is no way you can make it because you are in Nigeria.
Another point, some would say, it is an added advantage since the location will reflect on your passport Abu Dhabi.
Your passport speaks for you like a traveler who doesn’t base in Nigeria when you visit other countries embassy like the US, Canada for a visa.

It is easy to locate. Take a taxi at the bus station in Abu Dhabi and tell the taxi driver the address location.

The Process:
- They will give you a form to fill.
- You go to where you will pay on two POS machines.
- Then you will proceed to the waiting area.
- When they call you in, you will do capturing and biometric.
When you go earlier, you will get your passport the same day.
In my case, I was there as early as I could and I collected the passport the same day.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are for collections in Abu Dhabi. You can go on those days and collect your passport. Moreover, take extra cash with you. Thank me later.

The collection time should be between 1 to 4 days. That’s it.
If you ask me, the process looks easy and should be. But if you patronize the touts outside the immigration office then your case may not be the same.
This may take more than a month; they will tell you there is no booklet and continue to extort you.
