Qatar Work Visa Documents
If you are planning to apply for a Qatar Work Visa, you will need to prepare the following documents beforehand:
Contract of employment
This document is the job offer letter from the employer in Qatar, which should specify your job title, salary, and other details of your employment.
Completed application form from the Ministry of Labor
This form can be obtained from your employer, and you will need to fill in your personal information and other details related to your employment.
A medical certificate of good health
This certificate should be issued by an approved medical center in your home country and should state that you are in good health and free from infectious diseases.
Passport copy
You will need to provide a copy of your passport, which should be valid for at least six months from the date of your arrival in Qatar.
Two passport photographs
You will need to provide two recent passport-sized photographs, which should be taken against a white background.
Relevant educational certificates
You will need to provide copies of your educational certificates, which should be attested by the relevant authorities in your home country.
Immigration Card of employer or company
Your employer or company should provide a copy of their immigration card.
Employment visa
Your employer should obtain an employment visa for you from the Ministry of Interior.
Biometrics data
You will need to provide biometric data, including fingerprints and a facial photograph, which will be used to issue your residence permit.
Residence permit documents
To obtain a residence permit in Qatar, the following documents are necessary:
- Valid passport
- Two passport-sized photographs of the employee
- Employment visa
- Commercial Registration copy
- Company’s or business’s immigration card copy
- Medical certificate of the employee.
The Qatar Work Visa has an age limit of under 60 for public sector employees, while there is no retirement age for private sector employees.
But, at the age of 60, foreigners are no longer permitted to renew their Qatar Work Visa.
