Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our real estate team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, ensuring successful project delivery, and providing expert advice on cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction and development projects.
- Monitor and control expenses during construction, ensuring adherence to budget.
- Administer contracts with contractors and suppliers.
- Measure and quantify materials and labor required for projects.
- Identify and mitigate potential cost risks.
- Conduct value engineering to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Assist in procurement processes for materials and services.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely project completion within budget.
- Resolve cost-related disputes with contractors and suppliers.
- Provide regular cost reports and analysis to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND qualification with 3 – 10 years experience.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in measurement software (AutoCAD, Revit).
- Understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Knowledge of building regulations and codes.
