Job Description
- As a Social Media / Content Developer, you will be responsible for developing, curating, and managing content across all social media platforms to enhance the brand’s online presence.
- You will also create engaging content that resonates with our target audience, drives traffic, and builds strong online communities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies that align with the company’s goals.
- Create, edit, and publish engaging content (posts, images, videos, etc.) for social media platforms, blogs, and websites.
- Manage daily social media activities, including content scheduling, posting, and audience engagement.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools to optimize content and strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that supports campaigns and drives brand awareness.
- Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and platform algorithms to ensure content remains effective.
- Engage with online communities, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the creation of email newsletters, infographics, and other digital marketing content.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, content development, or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and their best practices.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
- Knowledge of SEO, web traffic metrics, and social media analytics.
- Creative mindset with the ability to adapt to changing trends.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results under minimal supervision.
