Key Responsibilities
- The Metering/Instrument Engineer will specialize in flow measurement calibration.
- Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining measurement systems to ensure accurate flow control in various industrial processes.
- Design and implement flow measurement devices and calibration protocols.
- Analyse existing measurement systems for efficiency and accuracy improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate instrumentation into larger systems.
- Conduct routine calibrations and maintenance on flow measurement equipment.
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications and test reports.
- Provide training and support for operational staff on instrumentation use.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate should possess a B.Sc. / HND in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Work Experience:
- Should possess a minimum of 5 years cognate working experience in instrumentation and Control.
- Post qualification experience in the Oil and Gas Industry Job
- Member of Engineering Professional bodies like: Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) will be an added advantage.
Skills / Qualities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experienced with flow measurement technologies and calibration techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in CAD software.
- Knowledge of industry standards related to flow measurement.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration and training purposes.
- Excellent attention to details and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently.
- A team player with interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to Drive is a requirement and an added advantage.
