Job Description
- We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us and achieve our vision together.
- We are looking for a Motivated and Capable Regional Operations Leader (ROL) who will enable us to expand our business in OGUN STATE and other states in Nigeria where we have no footprints yet.
Responsibilities and Duties
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage a team of marketing representatives in the state/region to ensure a high standard of service to WASSHA Customers and Agents by providing guidance and training and being a role model.
- Planning, Organizing, and Monitoring the execution of assigned tasks to marketing representatives.
- Overseeing and managing supply chain and logistics of items in the state/region.
- Manage and strategies ways to increase profitability, and propose any realistic approaches in operation cost reduction to the management.
- Compile regular summaries of sales reports and other activities of your state/region as well as provide insights and prospects of your area/state of supervision and report promptly to the Operations Manager.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Together with the Operations Manager, develop and implement sales strategies in line with the WASSHA strategic objectives and ensure these are achieved.
- Monitor daily sales and take all necessary remedial actions to ensure monthly sales targets and KPIs within the state/region are met and exceeded.
- Understand what is happening in the field and dedicate time to pinpoint challenges that Agents are facing plus your team of marketing representatives and find, suggest, and/or come up with a solution.
- Be a leader to implement the Company’s values and policies within your region/state.
- Track and review Agents’ sales weekly and come up with solutions to improve sales to low-performing Agents.
- Participate in monthly and weekly meetings and review sales and operations at your region/state and make specific and relevant recommendations for action to the management.
- Identify new sales opportunities and focus on sales efforts to capitalize on such opportunities.
- Conduct research and surveys of potential areas and suggest the same to the management for expansion plans,
- Ensure the region/state warehouse/stores has enough and the right quantity of stock.
- Ensure stock management at the field is at par and less risk of loss or damage.
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Managing Marketing Representatives:
- Lead a team of Marketing Representatives and maximize their performance through strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, a positive attitude, high energy levels, and a tenacious yet diplomatic approach.
- Identify, recruit, and train new marketing representatives to ensure they have all the basics and knowledge to be able to work in the field with minimum supervision.
- Plan and share daily and weekly tasks/activities with Marketing Representatives on time.
- Closely monitor and follow-up to ensure the assigned tasks to Marketing Representatives and done and completed and give necessary technical and field support when needed.
- Ensure that correct marketing representative fee payments are calculated and that correct payment details are captured to avoid errors and omissions.
- Ensure that Marketing Representatives Contracts are up to date and that the ones expired are renewed promptly.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Management & Administration, Economics and Finance, Business and Commerce, Business Development, or any relevant field.
- 2 years and above of work experience in any of the above fields or relevant fields.
- Experience in the Solar Industry Business will be of added advantage.
- Should be a current resident of OGUN STATE or undoubtedly familiar with OGUN STATE.
